Gluu World Tour!

Michael Schwartz April 12, 2018

The plan

From August 2018 until July of 2019, Gluu is hitting the road, visiting 24 cities in eleven months! The goal is to build our global community by offering local partner and customer training sessions, hosting meetups, and promoting Mike’s soon-to-be-released book: Securing the Perimeter: Deploying Identity and Access Management with Free Open Source Software.

The itinerary

Visit the Gluu World Tour website for the latest itinerary and events.

The space

Our homebase in Austin, TX is WeWork Congress. We love the flexibility, clean workspace and community provided by WeWork. As we move around the world, wherever possible we will be following WeWork. This way wherever we may be, we’ll have a great place to work and build relationships!

Open Source Underdogs podcast

Along the way, we are recording a new podcast called “Open Source Underdogs“. The idea is to record conversations with the leaders of open source software companies to share their ideas about how to use open source software as a part of a business model–not just how to license open source software, but how open source impacts the culture, customer segments, value proposition, partnerships, resources and capabilities of a company.

The first season of Open Source Underdogs is launching at the All Things Open Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina in October! Subscribe to receive notifications about the podcast launch and new episodes.

Let’s meetup!

Gluu is a relatively small team, so this is a pretty ambitious plan for us. We need your help to make it a success! Please reach out to us if you would like to meetup along the way, or have any ideas about other synergistic events.

Bon voyage!
